CD+/DVD+/Evolution of File Sharing

I grew up a couple decades ago during the period when Reel 2 Reels, Cassettes, Vinal Records, Compact Disks & DVDs were all used by the general public for entertainment and file sharing. I admit that I never really looked that these items mentioned as sources of file sharing. Now that I am learning about Digital Media, I am now becoming aware of my abilities to use these resources for my own benefit , and the benefit of others including my mum, whom I will discuss further later. In my opinion the Compact Disk is still relevant in today's use of file sharing. I have a laptop that has capabilities to read Compact Disks and DVDs and with the proper software, I can burn files to disk and record disks which is still pretty useful even in today's digital age. Although Digital Media does continue to evolve, depictions of the desolate future tell us that the surviving members of society will have to  revert to the old hoarded equipment for probable underground communication, entert

Aeneas & Dido Essay

As I tend to procrastinate in completing my assignments, I must say that this class in Maymester is really hard to keep up with while working two jobs. There is so much to cover, in the same way Aeneas and Dido is such a magnificent production with so many layers of Mise en Scene. This film has an appreciation to it that makes me want to do more and be more elaborate in reviewing. When I first started watching the film, I immediately began to think of the HBO series:  Game Of Thrones. I then began to reflect on Shakespeare and how much work that he put into his plays. Although I’m not fluid in knowledge of the Elizabethan Era, I do feel that this play has that kind of vibe. I discovered that there is much more to Opera than what I thought and this film helped me to understand the kind of planning and budget it takes to perform an opera let alone film it as a movie. Aside from my poor time management skills and my overloaded schedule between work and school, this film really has inspire

Performance Video

I love to drive my car, but I can’t stand traffic. While I’m driving, I often listen to music loud enough for everyone to hear. The music is a Beat Loop track that I created with Logic Pro X software. The loop track was initially thirty seconds long. Therefore, I put three clips together so that the beginning of each loop started each clip. In the first scene I'm behind the car on the left where I am unable to pass either car ahead of me. In the second scene I'm behind the car in the right lane where I successfully maneuver around and get ahead of the vehicles in my way. In the third scene I'm smooth sailing with no traffic in my way. I definitely can and will produce a better video in the future. FMX 211 has helped me understand my artistic strengths and weaknesses. Collage Art

Image
Ever since I took a Political Science class and learned about the electoral college, gerrymandering, and how they influence our voting system, I have been trying to keep up with the news/fake news. This collage represents the political urgency that we all should have in shaping our political system here in the US.

Grid Art Piece

Although I am not the best student in the world, I really do take pride in attending the prestigious University of Tampa. Which is why chose to do use a UT logo for my grid art piece. Art work does not come natural to me, but I do aspire to be one some day.

Stop Motion Video

I initially wanted do my Stop Motion video at work, but then we got slammed and I could make time on the clock to create anything. Therefore, I decided to capture myself at home with dog along with my bad habits. I used the Time-lapse feature on my phone, then edited the video on iMovie. If you pay close attention, you’ll see that I made some things appear suddenly and disappear over the span of the video. As you can see, I waste a lot of time battling depression. This is not my best work! Click the link below to view the video. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1iHI3Kxt7PgwvWR-JdpCJzTSu4CwFX91d
